Public dialogue 'Food for thought' – IOB review food security policy
On 31 May, the Food and Business Knowledge Platform and IOB organised a public, multi-stakeholder dialogue about the IOB review of the Dutch food security policy 2012-2016, in Wageningen. Over 100 participants, including policy makers from The Hague and food security experts from the Dutch embassies in partner countries, and representatives from the private sector, NGOs and knowledge institutes, discussed the main findings and recommendations, and proposed elements for a future food security policy.
A video impression of the plenary session and the four parallel sessions are to be found on the F&BKP website, as well as a summary and session blogs. The full IOB report, presentation and the four country case study reports can be found at the page of the policy review (in English). These as well as the policy response, the IOB Evaluation Newsletter and the Dutch summary can be found at the page of the policy review (in Dutch).
