Terms of Reference – Evaluation of Dutch policy on hosting international organisations

The Netherlands is host country for 39 international organisations, mostly based in The Hague and environs. Courts and tribunals like the International Criminal Court, EU organisations and other international organisations, like the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW). Under the responsibility of IOB, APE Public Economics is carrying out an evaluation of the role the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands plays in the Dutch policy on hosting established international organisations and in attracting new international organisations. Other executors of the Dutch policy on hosting international organisations will be involved in the research, where it provides insight in bottlenecks and success factors of the execution of the Dutch policy on hosting international organisations.
