Martin has been with IOB since 2022 and is coordinating the evaluation on the international policy for human rights. Before, Martin worked for several policy departments at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the United Nations and the Netherlands Institute for Multiparty Democracy (NIMD). In 2021, he wrote his doctoral thesis on hybrid security provision and democratic practice in Mali.
