Michelle Homans has been with IOB since 2019, working as an all-round researcher in the Foreign Affairs cluster. She focuses on European cooperation as well as on trade, investment and development cooperation.
Michelle obtained her bachelor’s degree Interdisciplinary Social Sciences from Utrecht University and her research master’s International Development Studies from Wageningen University & Research. She specialised in Politics and Governance of Development, for which she conducted field research in Ecuador.
