The Ministry of Foreign Affairs subsidises the SNV Netherlands Development Organisation. IOB carried out a mid-term evaluation of the subsidies for the period 2007–2015. The original subsidy of EUR 795 million for nine years was cut to EUR 676 million in 2012.
