Koen manages the Trade and Investment Policy Evaluation cluster. He studied History at Leiden University and gained his economic experience mostly in the field. Over the years he held a number of trade and economic diplomacy positions within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, mostly in diplomatic missions in emerging markets such as China and Colombia.
