Evaluation of the Netherlands and UN Security Council resolution 1325 – Gender, peace and security

IOB investigated the progress made by the Netherlands in implementing resolution 1325 of the UN Security Council – the first resolution to give attention to the disproportionate consequences of armed conflict for women. In conflict areas and fragile states, it has been a challenge to translate commitment into action.
