Country Reports – Strengthening Tax Systems

Country case studies, commissioned for this evaluation and executed by SEO in Kenya, Ghana and Uganda provided more insight into the position of governments and other stakeholders in these countries on issues such as international standards and bilateral tax treaties with the Netherlands. The country studies included four to five case studies per country, of which one per country focused specifically on tax treaty policy. A second case study analysed the country’s position on the OECD BEPS project and its implementation. The remaining two or three case studies were of bilateral CD activities financed by the Netherlands.
