Current research – Effective European cooperation

The Dutch government is committed to promoting Dutch interests in Europe. To achieve this to the best of its ability, the government must first define the Dutch position and then devise a strategy for influencing European decision-making. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is coordinating this process.

IOB examines how effectively and efficiently the Dutch position has been coordinated and European decision-making has been influenced, and where there is room for improvement.
