Systematic literature review – Impact on livelihoods of interventions providing access to renewable energy in developing countries

One of the UN’s goals is to achieve universal access to modern forms of energy before 2030. IOB carried out a comprehensive literature review, which yielded a total overview of the evaluations and reports dealing with the impact of renewable-energy interventions on the environment of individuals, households and communities in rural areas. This revealed that behaviour is more important than innovations in the area of renewable sources of energy.
