Substudy - Network of Regional Security Coordinators
As part of the evaluation of the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ Counterterrorism policy IOB conducted a research of the network of regional security coordinators.
In 2015, in order to contribute to the Dutch government's efforts to reduce the international threat of terrorism, a network of Regional Security Coordinators (RSCs) was set up by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. This evaluation assesses what the added value of the network of regional security coordinators (RSC) is for the MFA and Dutch government more broadly – in terms of information position, diplomatic influence and project portfolio – and which lessons can be learned. The key findings and recommendations from this study have been included in the final evaluation.
