Impact evaluation of activities supported by the Dutch Promoting Renewable Energy Programme – Access to Energy in Rwanda
The promotion of renewable energy in Rwanda was part of a broader programme dating from 2008 to stimulate renewable energy in developing countries. IOB evaluated the impact of the programme in Rwanda and found that the interventions had been relevant and effective. However, the programme’s impact on the incomes of households was modest.
